This
is also known as the schematic design phase. We work as a team
with you and any consultant/s you may have already selected.
Each project is unique and therefore requires a slightly different
approach. Sometimes just one design is the obvious inspired
solution. Sometimes multiple design options are used to refine
the program and the scope, and several iterations are required.
We often use quick sketches as a tool to communicate/coordinate
with you and the consultants as we refine your ideas. The end
product of this phase will be a set of graphic documents containing
a Conceptual Site Plan, floor plan/s and elevations to compliment
all other necessary consultants’ documents based on our
discussions and coordination. This phase of the process usually
encompasses 15-20% of our typical total effort. |
